Siargao is a very nice and super chill place. I haven’t been to a lot of islands so far but for now Siargao has been the best island I have been to. No time pressure and we didn’t book any tours. There are vans outside the airport. They will ask you where you are headed and they will drop you off the resort where you will be staying. We just met the habal-habal driver during day 1 in the parking area near Cloud 9 for the Magpupungko adventure. I forgot his name. For the island hopping contact person, I just saw his number in a shared post in one travel group. You can ask the resort reception for a van pick up during departure just let them know your flight schedule. Surfing rentals is everywhere in Cloud 9 right at the entrance, there are basically lots of option. I do not know how to swim nor skates but I was so happy I was able to stand during the last 3 tries of surfing. My instructor John smiled and raised two thumbs up because at the beginning I was so hopeless. LOL. It was fun indeed. A must try experience. The people in Siargao are very friendly. They have their own dialect called Surigawnon, however they can speak and understand Cebuano and Tagalog.
